Sign the petition - Requesting CALTRANS to fix Highway 1 in northern San Luis Obispo County
Petition: On behalf of the cycling community, we request that CALTRANS restore the Highway 1 shoulders between Cambria and Monterey County line to their pre-chip coat smoothness and remove all conditions that pose safety hazards to bicyclists. CALTRANS has a wonderful opportunity to do the right thing. There are too many stakeholders and this problem is too big to just go away. With an open and willing approach to addressing this problem, CALTRANS will garner significant public goodwill.
